Job summary

Intermountain Health in West Valley City is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, working closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging. You will verify orders, prep patients, acquire images, and maintain radiation safety in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT radiography certification, state licensure, and BLS, with 1+ year CT experience. You will train students and staff, document procedures, and follow coding and QC protocols while delivering

Qualifications

ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration required.
State licensure where required.
BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Maintains ARRT or modality competency in clinical and technical functions.
Verifies patient identity, orders, and preps for exams.
Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
Completes studies within time limits without compromising care.
Instructs students and other CT Techs on protocols and equipment.
Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
Adheres to infection control and sterile techniques.
Operates CT equipment and related information systems.
Keeps accurate records of procedures and findings.
Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
