Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration and state licensure where required.
• BLS for healthcare providers must be current.
• IV competency preferred.
• ARRT Computed Tomography Certification/Registration preferred when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Verifies patient identification and orders; prepares patient for exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Instructs students/CT techs on protocols and equipment.
