Job summary

Intermountain Health in Utah Valley is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams with a focus on safety and image quality. You will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate results while maintaining patient comfort and timely service.

The role supports education of students and CT staff, with a commitment to strict infection control and protocol adherence. The position is PRN, with shifts including days, evenings, and nights, and weekends coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration and state licensure as required.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• IV competency is preferred where applicable.
• ARRT CT Certification/Registration may be required where applicable.
• Facility-based certifications may be defined by each site.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares the patient for exams.
• Performs CT exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care.
• Assists and mentors students and CT staff on protocols and equipment.
