Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a CT Technologist to join nights on a per diem basis. You will work in a multi-disciplinary radiology team, supporting the Radiologist and ensuring high-quality CT images for diagnosis.

Responsibilities include processing and transmitting images to PACS, maintaining safety standards, and staying current with ARRT regulations. Per diem schedule varies with demand.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• CT ARRT certification required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality CT imaging.
• Support Radiologist and assist in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• 1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• 2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• 3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• 4. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• 5. Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 6. Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
• 7. Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire..
• 8. Proficient computer skills.
