Job summary

Garden City Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join a collaborative radiology team on a per diem night shift. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images and supporting radiologists in diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with imaging protocols, ensuring patient safety, and transmitting images to PACS. ARRT certification and state license are required; BCLS certification is also expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program; ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality CT images.
• Assist radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire..
• Proficient computer skills.
