Job summary

A state-of-the-art medical facility in Michigan is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be attending an accredited healthcare program for radiologic technology, and have at least one year of clinical experience. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, participating in quality control activities, and processing images. This position is per diem with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attending an accredited healthcare program for radiologic technology.
• Meet state requirements for exemption from licensing for x-ray equipment.
• Documentation of state exemption required in personnel file.
• At least one year of clinical experience in the radiology technologist program required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols.
• Function as the first line interface with customers for their imaging needs.
• Participate in PI/QC activities.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
