Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks a Multimodality Tech Rad to perform ionizing radiation procedures and operate radiology equipment, ensuring high-quality images for PACS verification.

The candidate will assist with daily Radiology Department operations and maintain professional relationships with staff, patients and physicians. Florida licensure and modality certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed radiology technologist with Florida DOH credentialing.
• Experience in CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound or mammography preferred.
• Knowledge of radiology safety and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs ionizing radiation procedures to detect pathology.
• Regulates equipment to expose x-ray images and sends to PACS for verification.
• Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department.
• Establishes rapport with fellow employees and maintains professional relationships.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, knows how to operate the CR unit and sends the image to PACS for verification. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees.
