Job summary

Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics seeks a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform satisfactory exams, adhere to ALARA principles, and ensure high‑quality imaging for patient care.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, follow safety procedures, and participate in QA/QC while maintaining compassionate patient interactions and timely communication.

Qualifications

  • ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
  • WA DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
  • AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained while employed.
  • Associate's degree or higher required.
  • 1+ year of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs satisfactory exams.
  • Uses two patient identifiers when greeting patients.
  • Has knowledge and use of ALARA principles.
  • Reconciles images and paperwork in PACS.
  • Cleans patient care equipment and surfaces.
  • Uses PPE properly.
  • Communicates effectively with staff and patients.
  • Works with Leads and radiologists to meet department needs.
  • Completes QA and QC as needed.
  • Stocks supplies and notifies Leads if supplies are needed.
  • Schedules patients and provides preps as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is primarily worked in a clinical environment. The position will require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds. The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required. The employee must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Hours per week: 33.5Employee Status: Regular Full TimeShift: Weekend Shift (United States of America)Pay Range: $33.00 - $57.75 (Actual pay offered will vary based on years of experience).
