Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and support patient care in a dynamic radiology department in South Carolina.

You will work with CT imaging resources, ensuring accuracy and safety across all ages while collaborating with radiologists and care teams. Requires ARRT and BLS, with sign-on and relocation benefits available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
• Must be ARRT registered (R) and obtain ARRT CT registration within 1 year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all CT imaging resources to perform high-quality CT examinations.
• Provide CT imaging services for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation.
• Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols.

CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Education

Experience

0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
