The ideal candidate holds a formal radiologic technology program background, radiologic licensure, BLS certification, and aims to obtain CT or Nuclear Medicine certification within a year.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the relevant state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and registration with recognized radiologic bodies.
• Within one year, obtain additional certification in CT or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Preferred: At least two years of radiologic technologist experience, with one year in a CT department.

Responsibilities

• Conducts CT scans and related procedures independently, utilizing power injectors and monitoring equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast agents (IV, oral, rectal) as directed by physicians.
• Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and provides exemplary patient care.
