Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to operate scanners and produce diagnostic CT images. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with no weekends, and offers a $5,000 relocation or sign-on bonus. Training in CT is available; option for 0.8 or 0.9 status with benefits included.

The Technologist will perform CT imaging across modalities, ensure patient safety, maintain records in RIS, and uphold accreditation standards while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be able to perform CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam and verify identity.
• Explain and prepare patients for CT imaging and position for the scan.
• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scanning parameters and use dose reduction techniques as needed.
• Follow physician orders, ensure safety, and document in RIS.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote safety.

There is a $5,000 relocation or sign-on bonus for this role! The pay range for this position is $30.00-$50.00 based on direct and relevant experience.

This is an add to staff position due to growth on our team and our additional beautiful new center in Sartell

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide CT services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position working in multimodalities (CT, C-arm, and X-ray) Monday-Friday various shifts between the hours of 7:00am-5:30pm, no call or weekends. Willing to train in CT. Option to work 0.8 or 0.9 status available (benefits included).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient CT Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately
3. Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
7. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

(5%) CT/Imaging Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
