Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a CT Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team in Des Plaines, Illinois. In this role, you will perform CT scans, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety. Applicants should have experience in clinical radiology and necessary certifications.

The position offers flexible scheduling as per diem with a competitive pay rate of $42.00 – $49.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit needed as required by State.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical teams.

Overview

CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Hourly Rate: $42.00 – $49.00 per hour

Schedule: PRN

Location: Des Plaines, Illinois

Join our team as a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist) and grow your career in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
• Prepare and position patients; administer contrast as appropriate
• Process and transmit images to PACS
• Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required.

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Holy Family Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $42.00 to $49.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
