Job summary

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift (weekends only). The CT Technologist performs high-quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist while maintaining a safe diagnostic radiological environment in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.

Key qualifications include AMA-approved Radiology Technology training, Texas state licensure, ARRT and Texas MRT registration, with CT certification through ARRT preferred and current BLS provider status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered with the State of Texas.
• Registered with ARRT and Texas MRT.
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Education

AMA approved Radiology Technology program

Texas state license

ARRT + Texas MRT registration

CT Certification through ARRT (preferred)

BLS provider (AHA/ARC)

CT Technologist – Night Shift (FT, weekends only)

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas. The CT Technologist performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages and maintains a safe diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology
• Registered with the State of Texas
• Registered with ARRT and Texas MRT
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
