Job summary

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas is seeking a CT Technologist for the night shift on weekends. The technologist will perform high-quality CT scans under Radiologist guidance and maintain a safe diagnostic radiology environment following radiation safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities include ensuring a safe monitoring environment and participating in department performance improvements. Registration/licensure in Texas ARRT and current BLS are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered with the State of Texas.
• Registered with ARRT and Texas MRT.
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Education

AMA accredited radiology program graduate

State of Texas registration

ARRT and Texas MRT registration

CT Certification (ARRT) preferred

BLS (AHA/ARC) provider

CT Technologist – Night Shift (FT, weekends only)

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas. The CT Technologist performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages and maintains a safe diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology
• Registered with the State of Texas
• Registered with ARRT and Texas MRT
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
