Job summary

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas is seeking a CT Technologist to join the night shift team on weekends. The role performs high-quality CT scans under Radiologist guidance while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection standards.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology program, licensed in Texas, ARRT certified, and BLS trained. This position emphasizes safe imaging, teamwork, and adherence to department protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Texas state licensure and ARRT/Texas MRT registration.
• ARRT CT certification preferred; active BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic radiological environment following standards and radiation safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

CT Technologist – Night Shift (FT, weekends only)

Medical City Heart and Spine – Texas. The CT Technologist performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages and maintains a safe diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology
• Registered with the State of Texas
• Registered with ARRT and Texas MRT
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
