Dignity Health’s Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott, AZ seeks a CT Technologist to capture high-quality diagnostic CT images and support radiologists in accurate diagnosis. You will handle patient interaction with care, follow ALARA safety practices, and manage data in Radnet/PACS while adhering to safety goals.

The role emphasizes precise imaging, patient positioning, and ongoing collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT RTR or RTCT credentials.
• Must have AZ MRAD; CTR credentials as specified.

Responsabilités

• Performs CT scans according to protocols and radiologist guidance.
• Ensure safety: ALARA principles; correct patient ID and workflow.
• Enter and merge patient data in the scanner and PACS/Radnet.
• Create CT reconstructions on the 3-D workstation; complete workups.
• Complete hospital forms per protocol and document exam details in Radnet.
• Submit incident reports and patient contrast information; maintain records.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross‑sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional

• Procedures, Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.

• Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifier, hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters, selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system.

• Accurately and proficiently performs work‑ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3‑D workstation

• Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Completes exams in Radnet.

• Completes incident reports/extravasations forms. Completes patient contrast information forms. Scans in documentation as required into PACS

Pay Range

$37.40 - $55.63 /hour
