Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a CT Technologist to capture precise diagnostic images for radiologists and to support compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

You will perform CT scans across trauma, perfusions, routine body, and neuro studies, assist during CT-guided procedures, and mentor students while upholding high standards of anatomy knowledge and protocol accuracy.

Formación

• Graduate AMA approved school of radiologic technology and at least two years radiologic technologist experience.
• Competent in CT after cross-training or program completion.
• Medical Radiographer: AZ licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CT CPR/BLS).
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• CT Radiology Tech: AZ license.
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CT scans based on current protocols and radiologist recommendations.
• Assists Interventional Radiologist during CT guidance procedures.
• Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions.
• Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary.
• Acts as a resource and role model for Students, Externs, and new staff members.
• Displays a thorough knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and positioning as it relates to performance of CT scan procedures.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Interventional Procedures.
• Assists Interventional Radiologist proficiently during CT guidance procedures.
• Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions.
• Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary.
• Acts as a resource and role model for Students, Externs, and new staff members
• Displays a thorough knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and positioning as it relates to performance of CT scan procedures.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate AMA approved school of radiologic technology and At least two (2) years prior radiologic technologist experience, upon hire and
• Successfully demonstrates competent in CT after cross-training or program completion
• Medical Radiographer: AZ and
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS), and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, and
• CT Radiology Tech: AZ, and
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, and

Preferred
