Job summary

Brunswick Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to support diagnostic imaging under the Novant Health system.

Schedule: Mon-Wed 11a-11:30p; Thu-Sat 11a-11:30p. Education: 2-year degree preferred; ARRT Radiography or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine program graduates required. ARRT CT certification and state licensure needed.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 year/Associate Degree preferred; ARRT Radiography program graduate required or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine program graduate.
• Experience: 1 year CT experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT CT certification and RT(R) or CNMT; CT-RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) within 6 months; state license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures.
• Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

What We Offer

Brunswick Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time (36) hour CT Technologist. The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

Schedule:

Mon. – Wed. 11a – 11:30p

Thurs. – Sat. 11a-11:30p

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
