Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Outpatient Imaging in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves performing CT imaging with patient-centric care, preparing patients, and maintaining image quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include protocol verification, equipment operation, and documentation. ARRT/ NMTCB certification and state licensure are required or must be achieved within six months of hire; one year CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred; ARRT radiography program completion required or NMTCB recognition.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Active ARRT CT certification and state licensure required or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to obtain quality images.
• Verify protocols, monitor patient condition, and maintain records.

Facility: NHI Maplewood (Outpatient Imaging) | Location: Winston-Salem, NC | Part-Time

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
