Job summary

Episcopal Health Services Inc. provides CT procedures and radiologic services at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, NY.

The CT Special Procedure Technologist will perform CT and routine radiographic procedures in line with department protocols and hospital policy. The ideal candidate will have prior radiology technologist experience, possess an NYS license, and be familiar with PACS/RIS/EMR systems; CT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a radiologic technologist required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Formal radiologic technologic training from an accredited school.
• Previous experience as a Radiology Tech preferred.
• Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT/routine radiographic procedures.
• Participates in interventional procedures.
• Prepares and administers oral contrast media for patient consumption.
• Produce radiographs of designated portions of the body in accordance with physician's order.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Clean equipment and make minor adjustments as necessary.

Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Pay Range: $53.02 - $60.09 per hour, depending upon years of experience

• Valid NYS Radiological Technologist license, registered through A.R.R.T (CT certification) DOH license injection privileges required
