Responsibilities
  • Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or in patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
  • BLS certification depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
