Job summary

RadNet is hiring a CT Technologist in Los Angeles to perform high quality CT exams and support patient care. You will monitor patients, administer contrast when needed, and guide them through the exam with clear communication.

Requirements include state licensure, ARRT (R) and CT certifications, and BLS with preferred one year of diagnostic imaging experience. Join a team focused on safety and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • State licensure to practice radiologic technology.
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required or in-state equivalent.
  • BLS certification as per state regulations.
  • Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on patients.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to any discomfort or medical issues.
  • Administer contrast safely and effectively as needed.
  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to reduce anxiety.

You Will
  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
  • BLS certification depending on state regulations
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $34.00 - $56.00 Per Hour
