Job summary

A leading imaging center located in Palm Springs, California, is looking for a dedicated CT Technologist. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT exams, monitor patient well-being, and administer contrast as needed. Ideal candidates should have state licensure and ARRT certification, along with a passion for patient care. You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient’s well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes‑difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
