Baptist Health Imaging is seeking a CT Tech for a part-time, first shift role. The position involves performing CT procedures, processing images, and collaborating with surgical and oncology teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

The candidate should have ARRT registry, Kentucky license, and BLS; advanced CT ARRT registry is required within one year of hire. Excellent patient care and professional judgment are essential in this community-focused department.

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
  • Current ARRT Registry.
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • Advanced ARRT CT Registry required within 12 months of hire.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Recognizes patient conditions to provide appropriate care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Shift:

Part time, First Shift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
  • Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire
  • 3 Years of related experience
  • Current BLS Certification
