Responsibilities
- Interpret physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment.
- Position patients comfortably, provide basic patient care, and ensure their well-being during procedures.
- Submit accurate and timely imaging, document patient history, and process case charges.
- Support departmental initiatives to enhance patient and employee satisfaction, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Perform technical procedures independently, applying ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
- Stay current with advancements in CT technology through ongoing learning and collaboration.
- Perform quality assurance audits and maintain complete patient records to ensure department efficiency.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program, with coursework in cross-sectional anatomy or demonstrated skill.
- One year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
- ARRT certification required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- State of Washington Radiologic Technologist registration required.
- CT registration preferred.
