Responsibilities

• Interpret physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment.
• Position patients comfortably and safely, providing basic patient care and ensuring their well-being.
• Submit accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges.
• Support departmental initiatives focused on patient and employee satisfaction, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Perform technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in applying ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
• Stay current with advancements in CT technology through ongoing learning and departmental activities.
• Perform quality assurance audits and activities to ensure complete patient records and a high-functioning department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program, including cross-sectional anatomy coursework.
• One year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• State of Washington Radiologic Technologist Registration required.
• CT Registration preferred.
