The Opportunity

Description

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,800.00 per week plus weekly per diem

Are you an MRI – CT Tech looking to grow your career with an innovative company known for Medical Imaging?

Our client offers access to industry experts with ongoing training and education.

As a CT Tech, you'll work with top healthcare companies across the US. Contracts last from 12 weeks up to a year.

Currently seeking CT Techs for multiple US locations. Must be able to perform examinations of patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses.

Contracts are up to a year, with high priority placed on new placements upon contract completion.

Role:

The successful candidate will function as a CT Technologist, performing examinations and serving as a training resource.

Responsibilities:

  1. Performing CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to protocols.
  2. Locating and recording internal body elements and identifying anomalies.
  3. Adjusting equipment and calming patients to eliminate artifacts.
  4. Monitoring patients for physical and emotional changes.
  5. Evaluating test results for clarity and accuracy.
  6. Reviewing tests with peers and physicians.
  7. Informing physicians of preliminary findings.
  8. Distributing test results to physicians and service providers.
  9. Preparing diagnostic information for interpretation.
  10. Maintaining patient charts and logging data.
  11. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and workspace.
  12. Recognizing malfunctions and referring for repairs.
  13. Instructing patients and explaining procedures.
  14. Maintaining equipment per infection control procedures.
  15. Continuing education and participating in training programs.
  16. Administering contrast agents under supervision.
  17. Maintaining current permits in all states of practice.
  18. Performing quality checks and troubleshooting.
  19. Following quality assurance and confidentiality protocols.
  20. Performing additional duties as required.

Experience Required for Your Success

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical CT experience

License/Certification:

  • Valid ARRT license in CT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexibility, reliability, sound judgment, and initiative

Relocation:

  • Reliable commute or planning to relocate in the US preferred
