Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist II for per diem shifts at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves operating CT scanners, positioning patients, administering contrast, and ensuring high-quality imaging per Radiologist instructions.

Shifts vary by department needs, with rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays. A sign-on bonus of 1,000 is offered, along with premium pay and opportunities for annual increases based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT (R) Radiology certification must be completed and registered within six months of start date.
• ARRT (CT) certification must be completed and registered within six months of start date.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) required.

Responsabilités

• Operate CT scanner to obtain images per Radiologist directions.
• Position patients for procedures and administer contrast media.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: CT Technologist II - Per Diem Level I

Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

Per Diem: shifts will vary per the needs of the department

Rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
• Preferred: Prior CT experience
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• ARRT (CT), (Computerized Tomography). Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

What you will do:

Operates computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, in accordance to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients for procedure, administers injections of contrast media, operates scanners to visualize pathologies, manipulates images to find best image possible and reproduces screen images on film. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
