Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist I at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This part-time role (20 hours/week) runs 3pm–11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, offering an engaging schedule and sign-on bonus.

You will operate the CT scanner, position patients, administer contrast, and deliver compassionate care per Radiologist guidance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, IEMA licensure, ARRT certification with registration within 6 months, BLS CPR, and CT experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Prior CT experience preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT(R) certification required; register within six months of start date.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner per Radiologist directions.
• Position patients for procedures and administer contrast.
• Visualize pathologies and adjust images for best quality.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and build trust.

Hourly Pay Range:

$34.03 - $52.75 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

• Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
• Part Time, 20 hours weekly
• Hours: 3pm - 11:30pm - rotating weekends & holidays

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Preferred: Prior CT experience
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within six months of start date into position.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

What you will do:

Operates computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, in accordance to Radiologist’s directions and established procedures.Positions patients for procedure, administers injections of contrast media, operates scanners to visualize pathologies, manipulates images to find best image possible and reproduces screen images on film.Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
