Job summary

Sentara Healthcare Inc is hiring a CT Technologist for their Hampton, VA hospital. This full-time position offers a weekend day shift with hours from Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7 PM. Qualified candidates will receive a 30K sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include providing quality CT imaging, operating equipment safely, and adhering to safety regulations. Candidates must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT or CNMT certification. Advanced ARRT (CT) registry must be obtained within 2 years.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Trade School in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT or CNMT certification required.
Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients.
Operate equipment safely and maintain documentation.
Follow radiation safety guidelines.

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
