Job summary

Corewell Health's Gerber Hospital in Fremont seeks a part-time CT Technologist for night shifts. You will perform CT procedures, process images for interpretation, and ensure equipment readiness while supporting the radiology team.

Required: Associate degree or equivalent, 2 years CT experience, ARRT CT and Radiography credentials on hire, and BLS within 90 days. Benefits eligible; diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT credentials upon hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related image acquisition.
• Processes CT images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Maintains equipment readiness at shift start and end and supports department staff.

Scope of work

Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift. Assists in and facilitates employee development.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• 2 years of relevant experience CT experience Required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required And
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required
