Overview

Hourly Wage Estimate: $33.27 - $51.00 / hour. $10,000 sign-on bonus available. Bonus eligibility limited to candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE. This role is part-time nights, split between Southwest ER and Swedish main hospital. Schedule: Sunday at Southwest ER, Monday at main hospital 1800-0630. Additional night shift differential of $5.50/hr from 1900-0630.

Responsibilities

• Cat Scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis.
• Create and interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT equipment, and position patients to capture appropriate images.
• Communicate and work independently in performing CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning and immobilizing, adjusting equipment and exposure factors.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and concern for patients, medical staff and colleagues.

What qualifications you will need

• Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification required (ARRT(RT)(CT) and CE compliance; current BLS certification).
• 1 year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of CT procedures.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography; (ARRT-R) Radiography; Vocational School Graduate.
