Job summary

HCA HealthONE in Centennial, Colorado is seeking a CT Technologist responsible for performing CT procedures and preparing patients for radiological assessments. The role requires a solid understanding of CT practices and certifications in Radiologic Technology.

Job description

Overview

Hourly Wage Estimate: $33.27 - $51.00 / hour.

$20,000 sign-on bonus is available. Bonus eligibility is limited to candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE.

Responsibilities

Cat Scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Your role includes:

• Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
• Communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
• Use computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and adjusting exposure factors.
• Interact with patients, medical staff, and employees in a professional and caring manner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology — Certified by ARRT.
• ARRT (RT) (CT) REQUIRED and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
