Provident Behavioral Health seeks a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans with high-quality imaging and professional patient care. You will interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff to support outcomes.
Requirements include AMA/JCERT radiologic tech training, ARRT certification, licensure if applicable, and BLS/IV certs within six weeks; CT certification within two years is preferred.
Role: Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans, producing high-quality images while exercising professional judgment. Provides patient care, initiates life support when necessary, and interacts effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
Responsibilities: Operates CT equipment, performs related procedures, learns and applies new technology, and obtains patient information to enhance personalized care. May expand duties to include on-call rotations, mobile imaging, EKGs, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures based on facility needs.
Qualifications & Skills: Completion of AMA or JCERT accredited radiologic technology training, ARRT certification, and valid licensure if applicable. CT certification within two years preferred. BLS and IV certifications required within six weeks of employment.
Key Duties: Ensures quality imaging, maintains patient safety, and adheres to radiology protocols. Demonstrates the ability to work with diverse age groups and adapt to new technologies. Complies with accreditation and licensure requirements across states.
