Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide computed tomography imaging in accordance with standards and organizational values.

You will review patient history, schedule procedures, educate patients, ensure cooperation, and monitor patient condition. A CT registry should be completed within 12 months and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), with completion of CT registry within 12 months.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • Prepares and administers contrast media and medications, monitors patient condition, and reports changes.
  • Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, implements safety protocols, troubleshoots equipment issues, and performs imaging procedures.
  • Analyzes imaging results, resolves quality issues, reports scan outcomes, and may perform 3-D post-processing.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
