Overview

Jobs in this job family are responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to support patient care, clinical research, and medical education. These roles utilize advanced imaging technologies—such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology—to produce high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of medical conditions. These roles involve operating CT scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body for diagnosing and monitoring a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures using X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology to support patient care, clinical research, and medical education.
  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure image quality, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging procedures and deliver accurate results.
  • Document procedures, maintain patient records, and participate in quality assurance activities.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.); ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Physical Demands

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping, reaching overhead, and repetitive motion. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 50–100 lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $35.00 - $51.17 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
