Job Summary

The CT Technologist coordinates services in the Imaging area, performs CT scans and radiographs following standards, and applies patient care principles. Ensures staff training, maintains professionalism, and follows safety and service standards to ensure high patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures.
• Proficiently operate CT equipment.
• Understand human anatomy and physiology.
• Document exam findings.
• Communicate relevant information to physicians.
• Apply radiation safety principles.
• Participate in rotating call schedule.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Engage in training and in-services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program (JRCERT or AMA-approved).
• Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• 1-2 years of CT experience preferred.
• Licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services.
• Certified by ARRT.
• Post-primary CT certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
