Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Scan Technologist II for the Halifax, VA imaging department. This full-time evening shift role offers a generous benefits package and a $20,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates.
You will perform CT imaging per protocol under physician supervision, educate patients, operate CT equipment safely, complete documentation, and manage supplies while adhering to radiation safety standards. ARRT (CT) registration within 2 years is required.

Second (Evenings)
As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards.
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician;
Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational;
Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.
Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
