Touchstone Medical Imaging in Austin, TX is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This full-time role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging, with a 8am-5pm weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT CT certification.
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality.
• Administer contrast media following physician orders and policies.
• Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort; verify patient information and orders.
• Maintain CT equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain exam rooms and work areas in a clean, organized state.

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused CT Technologist at our 38th facility in Austin, TX to join our outpatient imaging center.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfortVerify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
