Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered CT Technologist on a full-time basis to float and provide coverage across our outpatient imaging facilities.

The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT procedures, ensure patient safety, administer contrast as ordered, and collaborate with radiologists and staff while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient screening, positioning, image quality.
• Administer contrast media according to orders and company policies.
• Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation.
• Maintain CT equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Administer contrast media in accordance with physician orders and company policies
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT)

The posted hiring range represents the anticipated pay range for this position. Actual starting compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, certifications, licensure, skills, work location, shift and schedule requirements, role-specific qualifications, and business needs.
