Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures. The role requires Texas MRT license, ARRT CT, and BLS, with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care.

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and is part of the HCA Healthcare family. The hospital emphasizes safety, teamwork and compassionate care for patients in Arlington.

Qualifications

• Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and position patients on CT table with care.
• Initiate IVs for contrast when needed.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters as required.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room between patients using aseptic technique and clean equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.

• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.

• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.

• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.

• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.

• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
