Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist-Radiology Technologist for full-time night shifts at our Arlington facility. The role performs routine and specialized CT imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, IV access for contrast, image quality checks, post-procedure instructions, room turnover with aseptic technique, and adherence to radiation safety. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential is required.
• Vocational school graduate or Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on CT table and assist as needed.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
