Medical City Arlington seeks a CT Technologist for a full-time day shift (Tue-Fri 11:00 AM–9:30 PM). The role delivers diagnostic CT data and requires ARRT CT certification and MRT, plus BLS.

You will work with physicians and radiologists, perform scans efficiently, document studies, and adhere to safety and protocol standards in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and MRT registration/licensure where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The technologistconducts procedures to provide data toassistin the diagnosis of patients. The position's tasks and responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans assessment and reassessment and implementation of the patient's ordersin accordance withthe department and organizational standards and policies
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans
• Assist Physicians and Radiologist during procedures.
• Performs CT scans ina timelyand efficient manner.
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Completesappropriate documentationfor each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocolsin order toensure the highest quality procedures
• Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs ofpatientin performance of duties and responsibilities.
