Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in accordance with department standards. The role focuses on delivering high-quality images for physicians to diagnose and treat patients.

You will position patients, initiate IV access for contrast, ensure image quality, and provide clear post-procedure instructions. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced emergency-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Current MRT license issued by the State of Texas.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on CT table and assist compassionately.
• Start IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room between patients using aseptic technique; clean equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
