Job summary

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree required.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice is mandatory.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and Computed Tomography.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• On-call requirement to report within 30 minutes of notification.
• Lift patients and equipment, demonstrating full range of motion.
• Accept on-call assignments as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Full range of motion of upper and lower extremities.
• Moving and/or lifting patients and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Pushing equipment > 100 pounds. Dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
• Standing and/or walking for extensive periods.
• Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Potential for exposure to communicable disease and/or body fluid which requires the use of body substance isolation precautions.
• On-Call Requirement: Must accept on-call assignments for scheduled shifts and be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification.
