Responsibilities

  • Provide care by performing CT scans and managing patient safety.
  • Assist in patient mobility and ensure equipment is operated properly.
  • Be available for on-call assignments and report within 30 minutes.

How you’ll contribute
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Full range of motion of upper and lower extremities.
  • Moving and/or lifting patients and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Pushing equipment > 100 pounds. Dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
  • Standing and/or walking for extensive periods.
  • Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Potential for exposure to communicable disease and/or body fluid which requires the use of body substance isolation precautions.
  • On-Call Requirement: Must accept on-call assignments for scheduled shifts and be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification.

What we’re looking for

Education: Two-year certificate, Associate’s degree, or Baccalaureate degree.

License / Certifications: Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and Computed Tomography; BLS required.
