Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, GA is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN status. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervising Radiologist and provide patient care to diverse age groups.

Education requirements include an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training; ARRT registration and BCLS are required at hire, with a minimum of 6 months radiology experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Computerized Tomography examinations under direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications
