When you join RadNet as a CT Technologist Trainee, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will
- Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
- Learn proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
- Observe and assist with administering contrast media (only after obtaining venipuncture certification and under direct supervision, if applicable).
- Support technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in educational activities, in‑service training, and on‑the‑job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient procedures.
- Provide professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Complete administrative tasks, paperwork, and data entry as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned while learning the full scope of the CT Technologist role.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
- Current ARRT® and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
- Obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within the timeframe required by RadNet policy or state regulations.
- Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.
- Ability to learn and apply specialized CT equipment operation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to patients, physicians, and team members.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and committed to professional development.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $56.00 Per Hour
