You Will
  • Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Learn proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
  • Observe and assist with administering contrast media (only after obtaining venipuncture certification and under direct supervision, if applicable).
  • Support technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in educational activities, in‑service training, and on‑the‑job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient procedures.
  • Provide professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Complete administrative tasks, paperwork, and data entry as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned while learning the full scope of the CT Technologist role.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have
  • Current ARRT® and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
  • Obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within the timeframe required by RadNet policy or state regulations. Continued employment in the trainee role is contingent upon meeting this requirement.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.
  • Ability to learn and apply specialized CT equipment operation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to patients, physicians, and team members.
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and committed to professional development.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
