Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or an associate degree preferred.
• 1-year radiologic technician experience without ARRT or no experience with ARRT – CT required.
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.

• Explain procedures to patients or guardians prior to exams.
• Perform complex imaging procedures considering age and developmental factors.
• Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

Work Location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work Hours: Full-time, 36 hours/week, Evenings 12P-12A

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or an associate degree (preferred)
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
• 1-year radiologic technician experience without ARRT or no experience with ARRT – CT required
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiology and CT upon hire
• CMRT certification by TDH or TMB upon hire
• BCLS certification prior to providing patient care and maintained quarterly

Job Responsibilities:

• Explain procedures to patients or guardians prior to exams
• Perform complex imaging procedures considering age and developmental factors
• Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
• Send and transfer images correctly to PACS
